A Sneak Peek of My Spring Fashion Finds Thus Far…

This past week I have been doing a spring cleaning by first sorting out all my clothing from last season including shorts, skirts, dresses, etc.  It turns out most of my bottoms don’t fit at all anymore (I have gotten more toned in the past year so my clothing is too loose now) and in need of new clothes in a smaller size!

Anything that I am done wearing or no longer fits went on Ebay this week and I made $500!!! It’s amazing to think I had $500 sitting in my closet this whole time!  I love to ebay my clothing and try to do it a few times a year.  I only Ebay the GOOD stuff (designer stuff and anything that has value).  Although most of the money I am saving, I do plan on taking some of the money and invest it in new spring/summer clothing.

Yesterday I did some shopping and here are a few pieces I picked up so far this season….

Forever 21 black and white animal print dress with mesh

I absolutely LOVE this dress!  It has a casual fit, but perfect for a night out!  It’s black and white, making it a very classy piece that will definitely last a few seasons in my wardrobe.  I cannot wait to wear this!

Express coral scallop skirt

So I discovered this skirt at Express about a week ago and they did not carry it in any small sizes, so I went to another location and thankfully they had it in my size.  It’s hard to tell by the photo, but this is a BEAUTIFUL bright coral color.  Besides the color, I love the design of this skirt and plan on wearing this with a white or nude cami underneath.  This is a trendy piece that I hope to wear to death this season!

Forever 21 cobalt blue romper with intricate cut-outs

Okay, so I am a TOTAL sucker for rompers and fell in love with this the moment I saw it.  It came in multiple colors: black, red, purple, and this cobalt blue.  I was tempted in getting the purple (but it wasn’t a really pretty shade of purple so I passed) or the red (it was a red with a coral undertone, so a bright orangey red, VERY STUNNING) but ended up with the cobalt blue because I love cobalt blue and I feel like I can really accessorize with this shade.  I felt with the red, it may be too much if I added a bunch of accessories since the red is striking on its own.  I really love the cut-outs on the bottom and find it’s the little styling details that give garments that extra edge (even when the piece itself could be very simple). I’m excited to wear this as well once the weather warms up!
